work in progress...

She is almost finished, I am still debating what to do about the colour of the cage. I might cover each bar with paper to add texture. I already have a tree to go inside the cage, although it needs an appropriate pot deep enough for the roots, and wide enough to serve as a base.

journals

These are some of my responses to the exhibitions Radical Nature, and Telling Tales, the students work at various degree shows, and also my own experiments with journals. I used Golden Medium over different materials, with different outcomes (some of the pages stuck together, to my dismay). But I learned a few things, and had fun, which was the whole point of doing it anyway.
The exhibitions were a while ago, but I thought I ought to put these out there anyway, because I think its a shame to keep these things hidden in a drawer.
